Nico was called to the Bar in 2022. In addition to her family law practice, and prior to joining Basran Robin Allen & Desilets, Nico practiced in the fields of civil litigation and construction law at a downtown Vancouver firm.

Nico earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Urban Systems and a double minor in Business and Environment from McGill University as well as a Master of International Forestry from UBC. She also has a Certificate in Construction Carpentry from Fanshawe College. In law school, Nico was involved in a wide range of activities including podcast host on the UVic Law Journal’s podcast accompaniment “Stare Indecisis”, co-President of the UVic Feminist Law Club, and member of the 2019 UVic team at the Wilson Moot. After law school, Nico clerked for the Honourable Justice Phelan at the Federal Court in Ottawa

Outside of work, Nico is an avid runner. She spends her time with her family, reading and walking her dog.
